Music Photography // College Station Lifestyle Photographer
I do not call myself a music photographer at all, but it is really fun and good for my brain to switch things up a little bit. I'm a natural light photographer. It is my favorite. I love both the softness and the challenge of natural light photography. There's nothing like finding the glow during golden hour to really make me come alive. That said though, I love shooting wedding receptions for much the same reason I enjoy the occasional evening when I get to try my hand at music photography -- funky angles, vibrant colors and dark darks, movement and energy.
My sister, Sara, is an incredible musician. I'd have to say she was incredible even if she wasn't, because she's my sister, but I'm telling you, she actually is amazing. Her music is so beyond me. I have no idea how she does it. It is soft but strong and on a whole different level of musicality than I could ever imagine. I won't even try to explain further, I think you should just pop over to Spotify and listen to her latest album or hop over to her Instagram to see more of her day to day life activities. But if you do that don't say I didn't warn you - she's a total weirdo and does stuff on her stories like act like Steve Irwin on her runs in Katy spotting alligators in the bayou (Katy is INSANE) and trying to scare her husband David every time he comes home. Speaking of David, today just happens to be their 2 year wedding anniversary. Happy anni to you two and cheers to Sara chasing her dream and making incredible music!
